Although lambs eat grass and grain, their favorite foods are forbs - broad leaf wildflowers and herbs. Siddoway lambs thrive on alpine meadows where they savor plants like arrow leaf balsam root. Forbs are abundant in the Teton area. The lambs have plenty of room to roam for their favorite forbs, spending just a few days in each meadow. This allows rapid and complete regeneration of grazing lands within weeks. Alpine lambs are guided by herders and protected by guard dogs. As a result, alpine grazing lands are not fenced. You can pass through a mountain meadow without even realizing you are in sheep country. The Siddoways have raised lambs on high alpine meadows for six generations. The family’s ranching standards elevate the lamb flavor. Taste the Alpine Lamb difference.

Grand Teton Lamb Company
