BEGINNING KNITTING

Bring your own needles and yarn and learn beginning knitting from master knitter and Sun Valley Needle Arts owner Patricia Lirk. Come learn to knit, ask questions, solve knitting mysteries and meet others. All skill levels welcome.
Learn to Knit with Patricia Lirk

Location: Hailey Public Library, 7 West Croy, Hailey
Learn to Knit” is a free, four-part, weekly class for beginners taught by master knitter and Sun Valley Needle Arts' owner Patricia Lirk. The series will focus on the basics and conclude with a personal project. Participants need to provide their own yarn and needles. Knitting Circle with Patricia Lirk

By popular demand, our informal monthly Knitting Circle with master knitter and Sun Valley Needle Arts' owner Patricia Lirk continues on the first and third Wednesdays of each month at the Hailey Public Library! Suitable for all abilities. Participants should bring their own yarn and needles. Pre-registration is encouraged for planning; just email kristin.fletcher@haileypubliclibrary.org.
HISTORIC HAILEY WALKING TOUR

Location: Hailey Public Library's West Patio
To help celebrate the Trailing of the Sheep Festival, the Hailey Public Library has invited local author and historian Rob Lonning to lead a free, 90-minute walking tour through parts of Old Hailey. Participants should meet on the Library’s west patio, ready to leave at 11:00am on Saturday, September 28. The tour will include the Hiawatha Hotel, Assay Office, Masonic Lodge, historic churches and more.
